Description

Mr. V and Alix Alvarez’s efforts on “Deep (House Music)” and “UC Anthem” with Marlon D were perfect examples of Frankie’s vision of urban dance music, and what he wanted for his label.

Frankie has always appreciated the contributions that the Baltimore scene has made to the genre, so when the opportunity came to work with Karizma, he quickly jumped at the chance. Karizma brings a different flavor to the brew that Frankie was cooking up for the label, and “In The Deep” is a cornerstone in the Ricanstruction foundation.

The appearance of legendary vocalist Kenny Bobien on “My Joy”, served to legitimize Ricanstruction Label as a real player in the urban dance market, and the inclusion of Innervision’s “Don’t Ever Give Up” lends a touch of class with a nod to the labels origins.

This all-world collection features works from Japan (Studio Apt.), England (Bah Samba), France (DJ Deep), Chicago (Peven Everett), and New Jersey house legends Blaze. The addition of Swedens Markus Enochson and Norway’s Beady Belle, further illustrate the global influence of urban dance music and Ricanstruction Label’s efforts to bring it to you, and keep it ReaL.
