Since it’s launch in 1995, Ibadan Records has firmly established itself as
one of the most pioneering and influential dance labels in the world. It all
began when label head Jerome Sydenham decided to rework the
prestigious Atlantic Records Ten City catalogue with help from Joe
Claussell and Kerri Chandler. Since then Ibadan Records has gone on to
release classic tracks from Dennis Ferrer, Next Evidence, Nina Simone,
(The Songstress) as well as Claussell, Chandler and Sydenham
themselves. Now Ibadan have teamed up with BBE to bring a compilation
of the best tracks, all mixed live by the inimitable Jerome Sydenham.
