Ché La Seye + Coda Deep, two synth-obsessed producers join forces for ‘Enchanted Forest’, a slick and atmospheric Techno/House hybrid. A brand new studio and live project by respected London DJ (and BBE family member) Bijan, Coda Deep is an outlet for the his more tribal, progressive, avant-garde work. Ché La Seye is a shadowy and elusive London-based electronic music producer and songwriter with some seriously heavyweight dance tracks under his belt, but sadly we’re not allowed to tell you any more than that…

Clean production and expansive sonic vistas characterise ‘Enchanted Forest’, calling to mind the type of deep, progressive techno sound championed by Booka Shade and M.A.N.D.Y. among others. Venezuelan DJ / producer Dave Delgado aka Diegho supplies a techy, tribal remix of Enchanted Forest, somewhat reminiscent of the new-school afro sound of Culoe De Song.

To complete the package, Coda Deep cleverly combines Enchanted Forest with the Roy Ayers timeless classic ‘Tarzan’ (best known to house music fans from Osunlade’s 2005 remix), creating a compelling juxtaposition between old and new; electronic and analogue.
