Pitchblack Playback present a special listening session of J Dilla’s ‘The Shining‘ at The Castle Cinema in Homerton, London, August 4th 2021.
Experience the sounds of Dilla’s posthumous classic with no distractions on our immersive sound system at Pitchblack Playback’s exclusive listening session in the dark. Just you and the music and a comfy seat to sink into.
Around 75% finished at the time of his passing, ‘The Shining’ was completed by his friend Karriem Riggins and features contributions from the likes of Busta Rhymes, Pharoah Monch, Common, Madlib and Black Thought. We’ll be playing the album in full, followed by the instrumentals that were issued on the 10th anniversary edition to give you a second chance to soak Dilla’s beautiful beats in.
Ticket includes Pitchblack Playback eye mask for extra darkness.
