Jazz Travels with Sarah Ward, Tuesdays at 6pm, a unique journey around the world with music in the backpack, snapshots of fabled cities and exotic destinations and delightfully personal stories from the likes of Madeline Peyroux on busking in Paris to Japanese pianist Hiromi learning to ‘hug’ when she first arrived in America and saxophonist and composer Tim Garland taking inspiration from stormy seas and skies. Sarah speaks to musicians, authors, actors and more to provide an alternative look at travelling around the world, taking in the International Jazz Scene as well as stories from closer to home.
