Vinyl obsessive, renowned DJ and talented producer, Kon knows a thing or two about good music. Dubbed “King of the Edits” by Boiler Room, Kon is perhaps best known for his partnership with fellow Boston DJ Amir, which spawned ‘Off Track’, surely the most influential compilation series of recent years. Counting Gilles Peterson, Mark Ronson & Lord Finesse among his fans, Kon is well established as a ‘go-to-guy’ for countless DJs across the world looking for fresh, off-kilter sounds.
His latest project ‘Kon & The Gang’ is a collection of exclusive, unreleased music from Kon and a variety of his current favourite artists including Truccy, Eli Escobar, Bosq & Seven Davis Jr. Representing the new wave of distinctive and original disco-influenced music which has grown out of the ‘edit’ scene, Kon & The Gang showcases several ‘artists to watch’ as this dynamic movement builds momentum.
