BBE Music Celebrates Three Decades of Independence with Hackney All-Nighter

BBE Music has announced the first wave of artists set to perform at its 30-year anniversary celebrations, confirming a landmark all-night event in London on Friday April 3rd, 2026 at Number 90, Hackney.

Running from 8pm to 4am, the anniversary party will be a full venue takeover rather than a standard club night. Spanning four distinct rooms, the event is designed to reflect different chapters of BBE Music’s three-decade journey as one of the UK’s most respected independent labels, known for championing real music for real people.

The initial line-up brings together a heavyweight selection of artists closely aligned with the label’s legacy. Kenny Dope and Osunlade will headline the main room, hosted by Deep Into Soul, delivering an expansive journey through house, soul and underground dance music.

Gilles Peterson will take control of Room 3, hosted by The Handson Family, while DJ Spinna and Atjazz headline Room 2, curated by the BBE family. Each space will offer its own musical identity, collectively capturing the depth, range and influence of the BBE catalogue. Further artists, room concepts and special guests will be announced in the coming weeks.

Founded in 1996, BBE Music has spent the past 30 years building a global reputation for quality, integrity and community, releasing influential records across jazz, soul, house and hip-hop. Still fiercely independent, the label continues to prioritise artistic freedom and long-term cultural impact over trends.

Demand for the anniversary celebration has already been strong, with earlybird tickets selling out ahead of the full line-up announcement. Second release tickets are available now priced at £25, with a final release at £30. Capacity is limited, and the event is shaping up to be one of the most significant moments in BBE Music’s history.
